An Unforgettable Experience!

For decennary,
I have aviated gigantic aero planes;
In the tempest of storms,
Far, sky high in the peaks of the air;
Thusly penetrating: tremendous nimbuses

On this day, the test of time arrived;
My being existed in dilemma’s state:
Puzzled with economics-
To choice between risks and waste,

My jet’s engine was nearly empty with fuel;
Yet it could wheel us from RIA to Ghana
Thusly staking our survival
But buying fuel would have caused a great loss

With persuasion, I genuinely protested
But as though it wasn’t handsome enough
It travelled on deaf ears:

I liquidated fuel from my monthly earnings:
Bore the risk of budget deficit
And choose to thrust the sky;
With the forces of my pregnant machine

I embarked upon the flying object;
Relaxed on the chair before its steering,
And got all the buttons switched,
To initiate my journey of miles up

In spite seconds of speeding the tires
The aurora of the wind empowered my turbines
And away… I began to fly

Not even in the quarter of thirty minutes
A grotesque storm began to blow
Stopping our moments back and forth

Eerie fear scattered my passengers
Whilst the only options at stake
Was to dive our path in a circular motion
Awaiting the storm to make a cease

After five hours of scary shouts
The skies were now clear and save
And again our journey was at peace-
In hours of few
We landed at Kotoka

Praises I leveled to God,
But If I had not fueled my gas turbines before plight;
The lives of hundreds would have been lost!
And millions of damages would have occurred;
Then I learned to solve the smallest of things;
To avoid more problems ahead.
